This is the sort of thing that really terrifies me about this election year. The crazies are really going to come out.

Federal prosecutors charged two men with plotting a "killing spree" against African-Americans that would have been capped with an attempt to kill Sen. Barack Obama while they wore white tuxedos, federal officials said Monday.

When Clinton was first elected, all the coverage I got filtered up through the border (still lived in Canada back then) made him seem so Kennedy-esque that I thought for sure he'd be dead before the end of his first term.

They all bring out the crazies, but usually the security folks do their jobs well enough that we don't find out about it.

And any moron who has his plan discovered while still in the plotting stage is clearly too stupid to get to a president these days.

So worry about the racism and the hate, but don't worry about Obama. He'll be fine.
