Doug update

A quick update before I crash tonight: I haven't actually talked to Doug, but he left me a voice mail this afternoon saying that you would hardly know there was a war going on where he is (in Tel Aviv). He said people were hanging out on the beach, playing volleyball, and generally going about their normal lives. He said there wasn't really even any tension that he could sense.

That is a relief for me, but also a bit disturbing, considering that not so far from there people are being bombed.
