Friday afternoon date

Doug and I decided to go on a daytime date this afternoon, so we're doing lunch and a movie. We just had Indian food for lunch and are now waiting for our movie - Milk - to start. I think this is only the second time we've been to the movies in a year!

And even though this is the first time I've been away from Carter in an entire week, I find that I really miss him! I needed a break, but wow. I never expected to feel so completely attached to him. I remember my Mom telling a story about driving home from the beach in the middle of the night when I was one, just because she couldn't bear to be away from me for a single night. I always thought that was a sweet story, but now I totally understand!
