Happy Birthday, Rita!

Argh, I am a day late! I meant to post a greeting yesterday, but things got away from me and I was barely online at all. Then this morning, I realized I'd missed Rita's birthday!!

Happy Birthday, darling! I've known you for *gulp* 6 years now, and it's been such a fantastic part of my life! You have taught me so much, more than you know, and have helped me to become a better person in so many ways. I feel so lucky to know you and call you a friend. I wish we could get together more often, like we did in the pre-kid days. Remember the movie nights? The girly drinks? The sleepovers, staying up half the night like kids talking about everything from Star Wars to politics to knitting? When our boys are bigger, we'll do it again. They can have a sleepover of their own, and so will we! ;-)
