Tomorrow.

Surgery is tomorrow morning, bright and early. Oddly enough, I'm not the slightest bit anxious. I think that's because I've been through this before and know it's not a big deal.

I'm actually much more anxious about the fact that my grandfather will be at the doctor for an evaluation of his heart condition at the same time. After this, they'll decide how to proceed. Open heart surgery seems to be on the horizon, which is a heck of a lot scarier than a wee hysteroscopy.

Good luck tomorrow, hon. And my father had bypass surgery in 1986, before it became routine, and he did excellent. Heart surgery, while still a very serious proceedure, is not the monster that it once was. The survival rate is astronomical. I'm thinking good thoughts for you and your family, love. :*

My mother's having open heart surgery on Thursday. I'm concerned, but not scared. The doc's done thousands, and he says her health is good besides the heart problem. Best wishes for your grandpa, and for you of course!
